The Cycle
The rock cycle goes around and around. It never stops. First a rock could be metamorphic. The rock would change over time into igneous rock it would be pressed into the earth`s mantel. The metamorphic rock is then melted into magma. When a volcano erupts the lava will cool into igneous rock.
The igneous rock could change into sedimentary rock by water that would slowly wear away the igneous rock into sediments. The sediments then erode into layers which cause presure on the bottom layer it then forms sedimentary rock.
The sedimentary rock could then change by heat and preasure and then the sedimentary rock will be metamorphic rock.
The cycle will go back around and around. The cycle will never stop.
